as part of my collaborative project paperJAM with Hannah Lamar Simmons, we performed a series of renegade street art installations with touchlights in NYC over the summer... fun!

i've finally organised some images of work made whilst on the SVA residency, culminating in three installations for the Open Studio Show.

i've just spent the past month at The School of Visual Arts NYC on a Summer Residency Program in Sculpure, Installation & New Media Art, and on Thursday night, August 4th, we are having our Open Studio show in Chelsea - come see what i've been up to!

i have recently been awarded an Australia Council for the Arts ArtStart grant. The ArtStart is awarded by application to recent creative arts graduates who are committed to establishing a career as a professional artist. This is an excellent opportunity, which i'm using to set up a video art studio and to participate in a residency at the School of Visual Arts in Chelsea, NY.

paperJAM are showing in NYC based art organisation No Longer Empty's upcoming show ABOUT FACE, which is part of the New Museum's Festival of Ideas for the New City May 4-8 in NYC. and you're invited to join us!

i was recently awarded the John and Shelagh Kaske Memorial Fellowship, an award from Southern Cross University to the graduating student with the most outstanding performance in Visual Arts. The award was presented by Adele Wessell [pictured above left] and John Smith [above right] at the opening of the Tandem 11 Exhibition at Next Art Gallery in Lismore.
